Marilyn Nelson has owned and operated The Village Smithy for over 20 years.
She has more than 30 years experience quilting in the tradition
handed down by her Swedish ancestors.
Here Marilyn is quilting a "turning circles into stars" pattern quilt
on an antique quilting frame made in
Bishop Hill.
Antique quilts and new quilts, along with quilted wallhangings and table runners,
are all available for sale at the shop.
